The digital adaptation of the legendary Viking board game designed by Eric M. Lang with art by Adrian Smith, developed by Exozet, will be launched on PC (Steam) in 2020. The hit board game, originally released by CMON, ranked 30th with a 8/10 rating on BoardGameGeek.

Ragnarök has come, and it’s the end of the world. It’s the Vikings’ last chance to go down in a blaze of glory and secure their place in Valhalla at Odin’s side! Fight like a Viking for honor and glory!

In Blood Rage: Digital Edition, each player controls one of the seven Viking clans, each with its own warriors, leader, and ship. Draft the best cards and use them to get the advantage in battles. Raid lands, fulfill quests, and upgrade your units to lead your clan to victory! The original miniatures from the board game have been digitized into 3D animated units using high-res photogrammetry, leveraging more than 100 pictures for each of them.

Being a tactical game, the core gameplay is focused on combat. You must choose your drafted cards carefully at the beginning of each Age. Prepare your winning strategy for the game, but make sure to adapt, as your opponents take actions or claim allegiance to specific gods. Deduce their plan and play tactically to counter them. Winning battle is not the only way to victory, as you sometimes gain more victory points by sacrificing your troops! The only way to lose in Blood Rage is to shy away from a fight and a glorious death on the battlefield! Blood Rage is based around War and Glory. The game is played in three Ages, each ended by Ragnarök destroying a random area and the units present. At the end of the game, the player with the most Glory Points wins.
